Fay Blackmore, musically known as BELLAVOLENT originally started BossBabe RECORDS as she found record labels to be daunting, primarily she felt hesitation based on the fact that they can simply just own part of your music often only to let you put their name on it with often no other effort beyond that.
She took being an independent artists full force by creating BossBabe RECORDS to release her own music and music from other artists that are within a similar vibe.
Through her immense strive to be independent she learned how to audio engineer her entire first album with the help of Italian music producer Lorenzo Montanà. That was only the beginning. She continued to strive for independence and control over her own music after disappointments in professionals she hired, that she cultivated many skills she now uses to help other artists.
